Write to your federal representatives about the Mature & Old-Growth Inventory
In 2022 the US Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management completed the first national inventory of mature and old-growth forests on federal lands (Executive Order 14072). The follow-up rule is contested and has been delayed. A short, sourced, civil letter to your senators and representative is one of the highest-leverage things a US citizen can do for old growth.
